Nagel candleholders

Nagel modular candleholders - Model S22
Produced between the 60s and 80s (vintage and used).

In 1965, Hans Nagel – then head of a metalworking company specializing in tableware – and his architect friend Werner Stoff came up with a candleholder assembly system.

Their work resulted in the Nagel S22 candlestick, the very first model of modular tripod candlestick, which would inspire others to follow (BMF, Quist…).
Like a construction set, these candleholders can be nested endlessly to create personalized compositions!

Its design, very futuristic (it’s the era of “space age” design), is ultimately timeless and blends with all styles, even contrasting with more classic furniture or decor.
