Set of 3 BMF candleholders made of mauve-lacquered metal in their original box, with plastic flowers and 9 original candles.
Sold in the 1980s.
Please note: the candles are sold for decorative purposes only; we do not recommend lighting them, as safety standards were different in the 1980s and their chemical composition may have deteriorated since then.
Plastic flowers, in addition to being very kitschy, also seem very dangerous to us; never use them with lit candles!!
The candleholders are in good to very good condition, with some chipped lacquer.
Vintage modular candleholders (Nagel, BMF, etc.) are no longer available year-round.
They will be available only during pop-up sales (one or two per year).
All the lots presented in this sale have been appraised and authenticated as 1970s/1980s candlesticks and not as 2010/2020s reissues. Differences exist, some of which you will find on this page.
Unless otherwise stated on the product sheet, all the candlesticks shown are in very good or excellent condition, there are no bent / repaired candlesticks…
They have all been cleaned and polished to restore their original shine!
Most of the candleholders and accessories are Nagel and BMF brands, but there are also other more exotic brands and models.
When we are unsure of a brand’s attribution, we indicate “brand unknown” so as not to spread misinformation already rife on the web about vintage modular candleholders.
